I just posted this to the PDQ Forum and thought you all might be
interested as well. Much more interesting than guns :-)

“Operation Bahamas Project” is a Seven Seas Cruising Association
Humanitarian project whose purpose is to take school supplies and
teaching aides to the Out Islands of the Bahamas.

This winter we are in need of 30+ boats to take supplies to the Bahamas.
The boxes are small approximately (11” L X 9” W X 7” D) and can easily
be transferred to a dinghy. They are pre-addressed to each school
principal. We plan to deliver supplies to Staniel Cay, Black Point,
Little Farmers, Georgetown and Ragged Island. Boats may pick up boxes
at the Vero Beach Municipal Marina and in Punta Gorda, Florida.

Anyone interest in helping can e-mail Bruce Conklin at:

Boats can let us know what island(s) they would like to deliver to and
where they would like to pick up the boxes.

Many thanks for your help.
