My Paragon gets a little dodgy in reverse, when it gets hot. I notice
that the shaft ticks over in forward when the shifter is in neutral, but
it will be very nasty to adjust. I can cut out some floor, or pull the
engine, or shoot it if I had a gun, but where it is there is barely room
to get the cover off, and impossible to look in there. Can I adjust it
'by feel' without really long fingers? Can I adjust it without it being
connected to anything? (if I pull the engine) What kind of grief is
likely if I do nothing?
