Skip: There's not much between Old Saybrook and Orient Point. Once in Long
Island waters, visit Greenport (good town dock) and one of my favorite
anchorages -- Three Mile Harbor. Three Mile is a huge harbor on the inside of
the south fork with great anchorage and good clams along the shore (find with
your feet). The channel on the way in can be shoal, but should be navigable.
Sag Harbor can also be a interesting town to visit.
