The cutting oil is "Moly Dee" and it does work great, especially on stainless.

I did drag my eight foot draft from Miami to Norfolk, not in one fell swoop 
though.  I don't think it would be possible today with the lack of dredging in 
the most southern states.  We do still go between Morehead City (Beaufort NC) 
and Norfolk without any problems.

I have an acquaintance who claims to have moved a nine foot draft from a bit 
south of Charleston to Norfolk.  But that was some years ago also.

I take your point!  I still tell people how you come up the ICW with that deep 
draft and they don’t believe me!  PS.  Your cutting oil is fantastic!
