For reference purposes, those fees are cheap - very cheap. $30 a head
Liveaboard fee is also very low unless there are a mess of kids aboard.

while. In a marina due to the cold (yeah, I know the northerners on 
the list don't find 50's and 40's at night cold!). Every marina we 
checked there was OK or even encouraged liveaboards. We settled on 
Port Lavaca. We looked at Port Isabel first 'cause it's warmer and 
right next to Mexico, but guess it's really touristy because the 
marinas were unaffordable. The one we found totals $225 a month - 50 
ft slip, electricity and $30 a head liveaboard fee. A little town 
with a super WalMart, marine store, restaurants, etc. within easy 
walking distance.

I just wanted to throw Texas in as a place to be.
