Lee, find out what exactly USCG approved means and then act accordingly...
I doubt anyone is going to fault you after not being in US waters for
years...
I suggest ABC rated extinguishers or whatever fire type the coast gaurd
wants you to have...
if it is years before you come back to the us... remember it is entirely
possible that we
americans could have left here and replaced our out of date canisters while
out
cruising...
