I have a company that will come in and clean the tank for me with their fancy
process.. its not cheap.. but I would have had to have something done in any case.. the tank has sat, with whatever is in it.. old gas... since at least 2004. So there I am looking at around $300 to have that done.. Cleaning the tank is not that difficult. I have a detailed article on my web site on how I did it. Click on Repairs.
