We're planning to spend the summer in the Norfolk area and wanted to see if anyone had any opinions on which marinas to be at or avoid. I had really wanted to stay at Rudee's Inlet but I realized I'd have to lower my mast to get under the bridge.
Sue has relatives in Va Beach so we're trying to stay as close to them as possible. Just from a web search, there appears to be a number of marinas in the Little Creek area. The web pages look nice but I'd sure like it if someone that had some experience would comment. We've spent some time at Chesapeake and a marina in downtown Norfolk, but those are not as desirable.
