Not usually, no - or at least not with any good results. A typical radar
cable is shielded, has multiple wires and cables (some individually
shielded and/or twisted to minimize coupling) running through it, and
may include a stainless "trace" wire for strength. In theory, it's
possible to splice the it given enough time, patience, and expertise; in
practice, I'd bet large money against you succeeding - mostly based on
the fact that you asked the question at all. :)

If you did manage it, then you'd have to get a manual for your radar and
open it up (although some newer units make it a bit more accessible than
that) so you could adjust the so-called sweep timing; this will be
affected by any changes in cable length. Someone I know from another
