Peter, that's probably the best way but you'll need those little bus bars with
15-20 connection posts. That radar cable has a whole bunch of tiny wires,
including, with a lot of manufacturers, a video coax. Although Raymarine, for
example, won't warranty any radar cable which has more than two splices in it,
there are many installations which require more and the radar works fine. Bear
in mind, though, that each time the cable is cut and spliced there will some
degradation and signal loss.

whisker pole. what's involved? Can I simply cut the line from the array at
