Different boats, different capabilities.  I like my Porta-Bote…but recognize 
its limitations where, in some situations, an inflatable would be better 
suited.  On the other hand, it is easy to stow.

 

Small or large, every boat is a compromise.

I'm glad that it works for you, but please don't make the mistake of
claiming that it's a "cure" for inflatable issues; that would be a
classic case of the cure being worse than the disease. If we start
talking about the problems of Port-a-botes, inflatable leaks will seem
like a minor annoyance by comparison.
