It works very well. The way to avoid the hot air referred to by one
correspondent is to ensure that the exhaust hose goes directly outside and
that the port that you use should be stuffed with an old "T" shirt or
similar. Do that and you can freeze your posterior off. Don't do it and you
are in Death Valley. In fact, the exhaust air is an excellent clothes dryer
and might do damage to some plastics.

If you have difficulty getting your installed A/C units fixed (leaks) this
Sharp is an affordable stop-gap measure. Anyhow, George the Golden Retriever
is very happy and not panting - mostly.
