This cable is not tinned nor does it brag about its resistance to the
elements. The other cables woven shield is tinned with an inner aluminum
tape shield while the center conductor is copper. This cable is copper
shield with a copper clad aluminum center conductor. Doesn't sound as
saltwater resistant.

I am very partial to Andrew's Heliax.  I noticed a big difference when
changed my repeater over from LMR 400 to 1/2" heliax.  

This is actually what I have on my repeater to duplexer connections then the
1/2" going to the antenna from the duplexer.
