Hey Phil, I have a Rocna 20 (44 pounds) aboard my 8 ton Fuji 35 Ketch. 200 feet of 5/16 high test chain with 300 feet of 5/8 brait.
Very happy with the Rocna and quite confident in its ability to set well and hold. I cruise Puget Sound, San Juan Islands and British Columbia. I sleep better for having not only this style of anchor but for the size I chose as well. What type/size boat is Cynosure? I"m seriously considering dropping heavy coin on a Rocna 25 (Rocna's recommended size for my boat). I've yet to hear a negative word about them in apparently independent reviews and from other cruisers I've met. Are they (the anchors) really as great as everyone says? (Mine will go at the end of 350 feet of 5/16" chain.)
