You raise a good point.  More often than not, Lydia's request for relief 
comes from mal de mer, whereas mine is wandering mind.

Fortunately for me, I refresh quickly, and even a nap puts me in shape for a 
while more on duty.  My usual watch change is when I start getting sleepy - 
but if that cycle were to be repeated for a couple of days in a row (going 
down tired but not exhausted, and being pulled up again relatively quickly), 
I could start having real fatigue.

Point taken - I'll make it a habit to go earlier in the future.  Rosalie's 
comment about short trips is not our modus, but, due to the nature of our 
cruising, mostly is the reality.  So, fortunately, I've not been taxed, much 
:{))

How's that baby?  Our recent additions (grandkids on both sides) are 
thriving...
