I tried using the vinyl covered mushroom anchor I've been carrying for the last few years for the first time a few weeks ago off of the dingy beach in the GSP on BI. It was a total failure! :( I didn't thing it would perform so poorly. It just bounced on the mud sand bottom. I now know why it was gifted to me.
Our dinghy has an air-deck so I'm concerned about pointy bits puncturing the deck.
