Yeah, never got much above 10kt or so here, either (I spent the day in
Sandy Hook.) Always nice when it works out like that, although I'm
perverse enough to wish for at least one good gust of 45 or 50 or so...
just so I know that a hurricane has been by here. :)

I'd certainly be up for it if I could figure out transportation; I love
heavy-weather sailing. I can sail over to Rockaway Beach in a couple of
hours, and leave my dinghy there safely, but I'd have no idea how to get
up to your neck o'the'woods from there. Thoughts?
