Just ran across this, via another friend's blog:
http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dtxqwqr_23grsfpp
Dmitry Orlov, a very popular blogger, talks about perspectives on living
on a boat in the coming economic crunch; his idea is that liveaboards
can use their position as an insulating factor in the collapse. Long,
but well-written and makes for an interesting read.
(Note: not recommended for anyone with ostrich syndrome. The basic
underlying premise is that the US economy is in a steep downward plunge,
so if you seen no clouds on the horizon, just walk on by.)
