Our "Sundanzer" by Electrolux refrigerator and physically identical freezer hold five cubic feet each and use 25 watts (about 2A at 12VDC) each when running. We never measured it but guess at 100AH/day - but of course much depends on the ambient temperature.
About the size of small chest-type freezers, they are a bit larger than many sailboats will accommodate on a replacement basis. But if designing a galley or for use on a powerboat they might be worth considering. Ours run entirely via solar power, indeed they were designed to do so. We clean them out and blow the dust from the machinery yearly and they just kept on doing what they are suppose to do flawlessly for years. The refrigerator, if set carefully (or carelessly, depending on your goal), will keep things frozen at the bottom of the box while having normal refrigerator temps at the top, so you might be able to use just that one unit. In the freezer we keep vacuum sealed meats in the bottom and they do stay frozen hard for months or longer. Last year we boiled, peeled and froze a five-gallon bucket of Gloucester lobsters (@$5/lb) to make lobster rolls for our Thanksgiving dinner in Jacksonville) and they tasted great. The trick to vacuum bag sealing/freezing is to include some liquid in the package to keep freezer burn away. For the lobsters she included some of the liquid from the boiling pots. For beef she includes a little liquid/spice marinade.
