Since you and I are evidently the only persons interested, I will write to

The others either figured out their own solutions or do not consider 
undercharging as a problem.
However, right now, I am taking my wife out to Glosta for our 31st wedding 
anniversary dinner.

The simple answer to your question below is …. Yes.  I would be very 
interested and willing to spend $300 to have a solution you suggest.  Please 
elaborate.

I think it is possible to top off the batteries after every bulk charge 
without having to run the engine
or using a small generator or using shore power or relying on PV cells. The 
question is would the
same people who pay $300 for a Balmar regulator pay $300 for the product 
performing this function?
I know you don't need it, but would you buy it as a back-up?
