I asked the same question of a fellow boater in Baltimore. He dealt with a large outfit in Baltimore and they said that they can refill a Halon unit with recycled Halon. It seems that they cannot fill it with the new replacement gases for Halon. There may be a comparable outfit in Morehead. I believe that there is a large commercial outfit in Greenville, NC.
