Like many other people, I find it hard to know exactly what to say in
this kind of a situation, but it's good to see that you have a flight
plan for coming to terms with it all - even though the landing field at
the end may be a bit distant and foggy right at this very moment. You've
mentioned that there's likely to be some localized wet weather in your
area, perhaps with some decreased visibility... nothing unusual there,
just shows that your own motor is still ticking over just exactly as it
should.

I never got to meet your Dad, but working back from who you yourself are
and how much you respect and honor him, he must have been one hell of a
fine man. I wish him a good flight - exactly the kind *he* would have
wanted, with a landing to be proud of at the end, which doesn't
necessarily mean blue skies and sunshine - and I wish you an easy heart
and peace about it all whenever you're ready for them.
