Please give him a copy of my fuel system message, somewhere in the archives.
Basically, now would be the time to provide for sucking the fuel (and more to
the point, the water) from the lowest part of the tank. A well for the water
(and glop) to accumulate in would be even better, with the fuel sucked from the
bottom of the well.
A fuel tank should have fuel - and only fuel - in it. No water.
Arrange things so any water in the tank is sucked into the primary filter
whenever fuel is sucked from the tank and you will eliminate 90% of fuel
problems (which are 90% of diesel engine problems).
