This is an oversight. I'll fix this in Makefile system, but there
probably won't be a new release because of this oversight. LFS SVN is a
fast moving target and the packages and versions change often. So it is
therefore a good idea to download the packages separately for LFS SVN to
a USB stick, network, etc. In my opinion of course.
Is this package absolutely neccessary to complete the system? if so I
have challenge as my system is only bootable from the live cd until I
complete LFS.
Does the system have an internet connection? You can use wget to
download it directly to the running system. If not, you can use a usb
memory stick to transfer the file to that system.
