No, but in distros, it "just works" without setting this, and defaults
to vi.
Well, in my experience, using the instructions given in BLFS, you always
have to have SVN_EDITOR set in order to avoid using the -m switch. It
would be a simple thing to add it in our /etc/profiles, but then again,
we do have a few editors to choose from, so not sure if vi is the right
default even if it is my personal preference.
