Hello! I used the livecd version x86-6.2-1.
1) I wasn't able to find md5sum and sha1sum files on the livecd. They would be placed well in /lfs-sources beside the packages. 2) I downloaded the sha1sum and the md5sum files from the lfs site. The grub-geometry-patch had the wrong md5 _and_ sha1 sum. But grub compiled with this patch applied, so I think this is a reported mistake. 3) I get some error messages when I use the (previously discussed!) hibernate command. /etc/sysconfig/network... is not a valid network.. configuration.. (can't remember better.) I simply don't know how to circumvent this. Maybe setting up a network configuration. But hibernate works nevertheless. The livecd is a great help building lfs. You just don't have to change anything in your host system. After a reboot of the livecd everything is away! Keep continuing with the great work, livecd-team!
