But hibernate works nevertheless.
The fact that the LiveCD cannot use "valid" (in LFS sense) network
configuration: it has to run dhcpcd on every found network card, and
there is no way to say this using the syntas provided by LFS
bootscripts. Unfortunately, the "ifup" and "ifdown" scripts produce such
pointless messages for every manually-configured interface. For now, you
just have to ignore this noise. I will file a bug as soon as I reinstall
everything Windows-related in the classroom (there was a filesystem
crash just before I wanted to clone the installation, so now I have to
start from scratch).
