Does the effect still exist with LFS LiveCD 6.2-4, or when using the "vesa" or "fglrx" driver as opposed to "ati"? Please use the installer provided with LFS LiveCD 6.2-3, not the latest one from ATI. fglrx doesn't work with LFS LiveCD 6.2-4 and is not included there for this reason. Are the IRQs properly routed (check by adding "noapic pci=noacpi" to the kernel command line in the boot loader)? > I have the same effect if i take a Knoppix-generated xorg.conf. This is not even supposed to work - different font paths. -- Alexander E.
