Sorry, I am not sure that I understood you correctly. I don't have any wireless card, so I have no idea what is "normal". Are you saying that: 1) You booted the CD without the "nodhcp" parameter, 2) It attempted to run dhcpcd on the wireless interface, the end result is that the interface is down, 3) You created a network-specific configuration file for wpa_supplicant and ran this program, 4) After this, you ran dhcpcd and it got an address? If the above is true, please submit corrections to the /root/README file (it currently states that you must pass "nodhcp"). And please test whether the wireless connection survives hibernation. -- Alexander E.
