Indeed, there is no stable CD. Would you really call a CD that fails to 
boot on 50% of modern hardware (exactly because of the "too new SATA 
chipset" issue) stable? There is no valid option to fix this in the 6.2 
series, because, even if I add the relevant patches to the kernel, the 
same issue will affect LFS-6.2 that the user builds with stock 
linux-2.6.16. And, therefore, there is no stable LFS book.

Could you please adjust the website to reflect this fact?
