It seems to be only in squeeze (testing) - 1.3.4-1+b1: kfreebsd-i386

I did aptitude remove --purge my existing 0.9.9.3 version (which, I 
guess, came from debian-multimedia) and tried to install the version 
from testing it runs into massive dependency problems.

I don't know if I'd do any better trying to build it from sources.

To be honest I got around the immediate problem by converting my MOV 
files to DV and editing them in kino (which works, and I'm familiar with 
from editing camcorder tapes). But it would be good to try something 
with more facilities than kino.
