Hi, I am trying to run lives in Ubuntu 10.10 and am having problems. I know I have run lives before, but have probably upgraded the system since then.
Anyway, lives loads and I try to load a clip. The window comes up with showing the load progress and it goes all the way to the end, but when the progress window closes lives crashes. The strange thing is that I tried installing several different versions: the one in the repository, 1.3.9, 1.3.10, the latest svn code, and each one showed the same behavior. I kind wanted to see if I could track down the cause so I ran lives in a debugger, and guess what, it runs just fine without crashing!!! Using the svn version I compiled with both '-g' and '-g -O2' and got the same results. -Kree ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The ultimate all-in-one performance toolkit: Intel(R) Parallel Studio XE: Pinpoint memory and threading errors before they happen.
