Which DE, A GTK based DE or QT based DE?
When I used the previous version, it was running LXDE (a GTK Desktop).
AS LXDE development seems to be sporadic, I went to KDE for additional
feature set....And it is in KDE that the new version was installed.
Possible plausible QT/KDE/GTK issue?

PS; I'm going to install LXDE and modify my sys to start it, and see if
the problem remains....
