We have been using the version in common for some time and it matches
the CPlusPlus and Perl libraries (the perl library should be posted
before next week). I did also place an example of the human readable
form in a document on the sf.net project site.

Ideally, I would like to see all the toolkit items converge around this
common description and that will certainly help as we start to describe
vendor extensions in a similar manner, someone writes a wireshark
plugin, etc... The trick, at this point, is to get this all back to a
converged description without making too much of a mess (or making
migration dificult for anyone who has already adapted the existing Java
version)
