            Bug ID: 15268
           Summary: #pragma marks do not always show up in Xcode
           Product: clang
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: Macintosh
                OS: MacOS X
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P
         Component: -New Bugs
          Assignee: [email protected]

    Classification: Unclassified

I'm not 100% sure whether this bug is a Clang or an Xcode issue, but I suspect
Clang... if you add '#pragma mark - Description' directives to your code, Xcode
will show nice separators and section names in the jump bar.

However, pragma directives do not show up if they follow an '@interface'
declaration that does not have a private variables section (or at least the
'{}' brackets).

Example:

@interface APIExporterSymbol : NSObject {}
#pragma mark - Properties

==> separator/section name show up in jump bar

@interface APIExporterSymbol : NSObject
#pragma mark - Properties

==> separator/section name do not show up

The same goes for '@implementation' statements, by the way.

I'm using Xcode 4.6 with 'Apple LLVM version 4.2 (clang-425.0.24) (based on
LLVM 3.2svn)', but the bug was present in earlier Xcode releases, too (at least
Xcode 4.5).
