Hi, the long-term plan is to change to ZIP files containing a base XML file which defines the structure of a project (tracks, patterns, notes etc.) and links to resources (the settings of each track represent an internal preset resource) in the ZIP file (presets, samples, sub projects (which could be used/rendered by a new type of track)). So basically for project files I'd like to follow the principle of separation of structure and (audio) presentation.
You can keep that in mind when designing LSPv2 but don't rely on it for now. Should be easy to implement an extractor module later which provides e.g. search and download functionality for the content of a project file.
