Hello the LMMS-team!

I'm intrested to join the LMMS team as a programmer. I've been
programming for a few years in my spare time, mostly on smaller game
projects. I love to create electronic music and I often jam with my
friends with LMMS as my looper/sequencer. As you certainly know, LMMS
isn't exactly ideal for looping and doing live performance in general,
as I bitterly discovered when we played at a (very) local festival last
summer (I placed a loop marker in the wrong order, basically ruining the
chorus).

I'd like to work on some sort of live loop mode, this would probably
need a new window or two, which I realize is a lot of work for someone
like me who has no experience of using QT. I think that you might have
thought about this "missing" feature already, what are the current ideas
in the team?

I'm based on windows at the moment, but I'm prepared to create a dual
boot setup with Ubuntu or Mint if it is necessary, my previous attempts
at compiling LMMS on windows hasn't been very successful. What do you
think, is it possible to work on LMMS on windows?

Thanks!
Kalle
