Did not try it either - all work has been done on Linux so far (even cross-compiling the windows packages). However if you set up all the required external libraries it should be possible to built it somehow using cmake/mingw/qt creator. I suggest using Linux anyways. Regarding the features you want to implement: any help is welcome! So if you can improve the live abilities of LMMS, many users will be thankful!
