It might be good to publicize the vote on the forums, so the users and enthusiasts can also take part in this community effort. I guess you could post it on all the other outlets (social media, blogs, etc...)
Maybe we could get some news sites in on the vote, too...
Since the 1.0.0 version is almost ready (right?) it could be a good time to publicize it and promote the upcoming release... By the way, what is the projected date for this release? I need the new version to start packaging it for the upcoming Ubuntu release.... :)
