Seems the conflict is between some issues.

I put down LMMS Means Music Studio as recursive acronyms seem to be popular
in the linux world; however, as was also pointed out both Gnu and Wine are
also actual things, giving them a bit more humor value. I'm neutral towards
this, because it keeps a little Linux in the logo, but doesn't cause
windows users to scratch their heads over it.

Libre Music Making Studio directly describes what the software does, but
technically it also describes Ardour, Qtractor and Hydrogen. I can respect
it as a descriptive name, but it has no passion or flare to it like for
example Hydrogen (explosive gas). Qtracktor is a clever name because it
uses Qt and is a track editor (or a Q shaped farming vehicle), but Ardour
means, "To burn" again an energetic exciting word.

The purpose of Liquid is metaphoric. It is a descriptive word that
communicates how music is fluid and flows out of instruments, into ones
ears and hopefully touches ones soul. Magma is raw earth energy, hot,
powerful and exciting that is also fluid in nature. Momentium is an energy
that drives something through time and space, like the sound waves from
instruments and speakers. Metaphors are artistic language. They are why
cars have name, and originally the etymology of most names.
