This is what Choi mentioned and quickly followed it with the fact that
Symlinks are particularly difficult on Windows platforms, and for the
casual composer.
Furthermore, I'm not aware the current functionality traverses child
directories. Are you aware?
For organizational purposes with a large plugin collection, I find
subdirectories essential, as plugins often tend to have arbitrary DLL names.
