Yes, I just checked on 14.04 and it is present there as

What concerns me is it makes this mini-MDI toolbar draggable and it causes
all sorts of weirdness when you actually start dragging it around. I
tried this

as
well as a few other global variables too, but to no avail.
How much work would it be to move the MDI toolbar down into the button
toolbar instead and move it to the upper right?
