Possibly.  If we go this direction, we shouldn't do projects right away,
and if we do projects, we should do ones that only use the vanilla plugins
from the start.

Custom instruments and plugins can open a can of worms.  Just think of 3rd
party FX plugins, VSTs, etc (VSTs are DLLs so they can contain viruses).

If we start with "baby steps", supporting basic presets for built-in
instruments should be a short-term goal, and we would leave the
youtube/soundcloud standard until the site can mature into more.  The
maturity of projects should slowly fall into place because the presets
people use would be online anyways.  But this is very very wishful
thinking. :)
