Would this be a welcome addition? I think it would be a pretty simple thing to implement, but I'm not certain if we want such a thing. Usually, panning is handled with effect plugins like autopanners etc. and there's not much need for mixer channels that are off-center in most types of music... but then, the same argument could be made for the volume faders - that too could be done with amplifier plugins, yet we provide the faders for convenience.
So I'm looking for opinions... would panning knobs in FX Mixer channels be useful?
