Fair enough, but remember that I am willing to provide an environment for

The three bugs preventing me from recommending 1.x.x on OSX are Zyn GUI
crash, SoundFont sporatic crash, Double-click MMPZ not opening.
I'm comfortable disabling the Zyn "Show GUI" button temporarily on OSX, but
the SoundFont and MMPZ not opening bugs are too major in my opinion.
>From the behavior I'm seeing with SF2 player, it is isolated to a small
amount of code which may just need a second set of eyes to look at it (I've
documented this in the bug report).
As another topic, I'd also like to discuss if we should switch Zyn to NTK
(instead of FLTK) for the next release giving it the new theme. From the
sounds of it, I'd guess this would understandably fall outside of the
freeze.
