I've managed a few forum platforms and phpBB is the cheapest, but certainly
not the best. :) I've had much better success with commercial forums as
upgrades are much cleaner and they are less prone to viruses and spam, but
that is after managing several forums for several years.
I'd rather not get back into the business of managing forums so if there is
a project page that is willing to take us on, I would be a big fan of that.
