Hi Tres,

For me the login button works but I cannot login.
The forum does not know me anymore :-(
Do I have to register again?

Thanks

I've restored a *somewhat* working version here:
http://lmms.tuxfamily.org/forum/

Known issues:

  * Login and Logout Buttons aren't clickable.
  * Password resets have some issues (usernames are tied to SF email
    addresses still)

I've placed the correct email addresses for tobydox, diiz, sti2nd and made them all site owners. Let me know if anyone needs MySQL or SSH access and I can send credentials in a private message.

Note, this isn't necessarily a permanent home (as a new permanent hosting location hasn't really been chosen) however time spent is NOT time lost. We can easily move the forums elsewhere if that is chosen.

    @Jonathan,

Please let us know when you grab the db back up. If it's small
enough, a few of us should have a copy.

Jonathan, can you snag a phpBB DB backup now and send it to a
few people (assuming it is relatively small). Myself and
        Lucas should have a copy.

We can always have the old forums hosted somewhere for archive
        purposes as read-only.

As part of being a KVR project or sponsor, we will have the
ability to share links and there's nothing preventing the
coexistence of two forums, I just don't think the forums yield
enough activity to put a significant amount of work into
resurrecting them in their old form.

We may luck out and get KVR to import the archive for us as
well, although the user mappings could get tricky and this
        isn't something I've tried before.

Either way though we need to ensure the hosting conversations
are about "we" and "our", NOT "I", "me" and "my".

We need to establish something maintainable, and no offense
intended to the proposals, but I simply don't trust a service
that only one person had access to. We could be back in the
same situation a year from now. We need to designate a web
team and make sure all parties have access to administer the
        account.
