Well that's the thing, why encourage someone to implement a feature which isn't wanted and probably won't get accepted upstream? No one likes doing pointless work... Several people (including me) have already stated that they don't think using the scroll wheel for note length control is a good idea, and with good reason - it'd cause the same sort of usability problems as currently exist with the instrument window: You'd constantly have to be careful about the mouse cursor which would make navigating a pain. And since we already have a feature for quickly and easily resizing notes (in 1.1), this just becomes a bad idea, all things considered. It's much better to encourage new contributors to implement something which is actually wanted. That's (part of) the reason for this mailing list, to discuss new features and decide which of them should be implemented and how. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Meet PCI DSS 3.0 Compliance Requirements with EventLog Analyzer Achieve PCI DSS 3.0 Compliant Status with Out-of-the-box PCI DSS Reports Are you Audit-Ready for PCI DSS 3.0 Compliance?
