For the record: The memmgr branch now contains a fix where every channel is sanitized against infs/nans during export. I'm not sure if this will fix all the export problems but it's a step in the direction. This of course won't help with playback issues, so for those we're going to need some kind of switch or the like, possibly in the FX chain widget, or maybe in the FX channel.
