I think we non developers are much more excited for this with a real prize
(no t-shirts in my mind musikBear, unless you pay...) and a perhaps a
feeling of contributing to the program. 

Tres is correct in that the process will add unnecessary extra work for
some, preferably me or someone else than the developers. I understand that
the developers are thinking about reducing the amount of work and being
effective, whereas I and many of us who can't code just want to make the
community grow and help with the program the way we can, no matter how many
hours it takes (relatively, depends on how fun it is).
